Indicators Database Research

The Indicators Database Research serves as a guide to help you find your way through the many indicators available for research. To this end, indicators were collected from literature, policy documents and protocols. These were then categorised and attributes assigned to them: whether the indicator is about a direct and/or indirect productive interaction, and whether the indicator refers to an effort or an effect. The indicators are searchable through free text, through the categories and/or through the attributes. Bear in mind, however, that an indicator by itself is not that useful. An indicator should always be embedded in questions like “what do we think is important?”, “what exactly do we want to demonstrate?” and so on. Read our tips about how to use indicators in a meaningful way.
